Wherever we are on our journey, we will take steps together to know and become like Jesus.
That’s our vision. It’s why we exist and why the primary
goal of family ministry is to help make the Vision and the
Five Commitments a reality for all ages. At Jacob’s Well,
we’re committed to supporting and partnering with families. We want to be a part of the family journey, to meet people
at every age and each critical time of transition.
At the heart of our family ministry are three key influences:Family - We see the family as the primary influence in a child’s life: the first school, first place of worship, and the safest and best place to prepare your child or student to be healthy, whole adults. We believe the family is and should be the primary influence in the spiritual formation of a child’s life.Church – We’re committed to supporting and partnering with parents in the spiritual formation of their children and students. This includes creating/maintaining avenues and a culture where adults authentically know and interact with children and students, where there is a pastor for every age, (children, middle school or high school), and where tools are given to parents to help them succeed. Community – We’re a place where other adults, a third key influence in a child's or student's life, engage in opportunities to naturally and authentically come alongside our children. At Jacob’s Well we ask, “Who's speaking into the lives of your kids?" "Are they saying what you hope they'd say?” Whether it’s coaching a team, being a scout leader, or teaching in a school, we support, celebrate, and desire to assist the development of other key adults who help shape our children and students.
